On June 19th I was able to participate with other members of St James in preparing and distributing food to those in need at Manna House. Together we served over 300 meals that day. I had the pleasure to be at the door and hand out the meals and drinks. I truly enjoyed interacting with the members of the community. Not only did I see members of the community whom where homeless, but also those who came on a lunch break from work to get food, and parents/grandparent with children. Our community it is in need of help and I am grateful of being part of a ministry in our community like Manna House. I hope to continue participating in this ministry.
"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me." Matthew 25:35-36
