Our featured member this week is our Council President, Johnathen Fate Evans. Favorite Bible Verse – 1 John 4:16, “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them.” Favorite Place to Visit – Sal’s Neighborhood Pizzeria on St. Simons. I have so many fond memories of eating with friends and family. I also knew the owner when he was still living. Favorite Breakfast food – Anything with biscuits. My dad would often make “cathead” biscuits when I was younger. They’re so versatile. Ooh, but gravy is the preferred method to enjoy them. Favorite thing to do in my free time – I enjoy reading and learning new things. I’ve been known to read books of various genres and try and incorporate what I learn into my daily life. Favorite memory of St. James – My favorite memory was during the COVID pandemic. My friends—Luke, Jim, and Sam—and I leveraged our collective talents to provide some semblance of normalcy during those trying times. Reflecting, I enjoyed all the ups and downs involved with tackling that problem.
